The Bowler Area Historical Society is always in need of museum hosts to show people around our historic museum while sharing facts and knowledge about the treasure that is our history. Hosts are integral to our educational goals and spreading to word to others. Whether you’re a seasoned historian or new to history, your time is valuable to expanding knowledge in the community.

Are you interested in helping but without making a regular committment? The Bowler Area Historical Society hosts numerous events throughout the year and are always in need of volunteers. These events last anywhere from a day to a weekend, and might include the annual Bowler Bash.

Would you consider yourself handy? Our museum is always looking for enthusiastic individuals to monitor the building and help with any necessary repairs. You’re not just keeping up an old building, but a 130+ year old piece of history and all of the stories it houses.
